Shift indicator light blinking. I recently replaced the starter on my 2013 Accord Sport with a CVT transmission. I pulled and checked fuses and relays before I replaced the starter and the shifter selection indicator on the dash started flashing a mash up of all the possible gear selections. The pilots have had issues with shift solenoids going bad (among a number of other hondas). find which solenoid is being flagged and replace it. should be able to pull a diagnostic code up with a good scan tool.You will find the half moon shaped transmission range switch. It has plastic cover on it. Remove the cover. You will see two bolts holding it. Loosen them slightly and turn the switch in one direction slightly; snug it and see if the indicator lights are good. If it gets worse, turn it in the other direction.The 2003 Honda Accord has 14 problems reported for drive indicator light flashing on dash.
