Jan 15, 2012 · Take your CVT for a drive listen between 30-55 MPH (not the engine noise) I bet you will hear a whining, whirring noise. Mine may just be louder that others. Drain the transmission fluid with a sizable wrench. After that, unbolt the crankcase.
