But I was using Valvoline Maxlife ATF at the time, so I did 1 drain & fill of DW-1 + filter replacement and the code went away. Been using various cocktails of DW-1, Idemitsu Type-H Plus, and Valvoline Import Multi-Vehicle (blue bottle) at 15K intervals since. The D light flashes when the computer detects a fault in the transmission. You need to connect a scanner to get the faults stored in the system. I can then tell you what the faults mean, what to check and how to check in order to fix this problem.
