My experience playing EE on Tactician is that there are only three "classes" worth taking: Strength-heavy with Man-At-Arms and a bit of nearly every type of magic, Dexterity-heavy with archery and scoundrel abilities and a bit of nearly every type of magic, and Intelligence-heavy with an even spread of literally every type of magic.3)The strongest melee class early is two hander. The stronger melee class late is dual wield (both man-at-arms). Scoundrel doesn't really hit its stride later, and even then is reliant on positioning and ally support.
