It took about 3 days to discharge. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise. 1. Need a good set of pressure gauges. IIRC the system has aprox 22oz of 134a in it and 5-6 oz of oil. but dont trust those numbers. Dont refill with any of the stop leak crap. The UV dye stuff is ok if you are looking for leaks. Reply.I removed it and found the o-ring to be faulty. I got new o-ring and tried putting some 134 in and it is staying in. The replacement 134 refrigerant instructions say 25-45psi is safe, but going from the Subaru guidelines of max 28psi/95F I think I'll try 30psi based on my temp.
