May 29, 2014 · No Crank/No Start When Hot. New here to the forum. I have a 2008 Malibu LT 3.6L with, assuming 6 speed auto tranny with bump shift. Every since the temps outside got high, I have had issues with the car cranking. I can drive the car during the day with temps in the upper 90's to 100+ and the car is fine, until I cut it off.Won't start after timing chain replacement. If it's not, check the 15A fuse and/or the relay. If it is, then check the gray wire at the FP, or as close as you can. If they are loose or corroded, it acts as a barrier that can keep the starter from getting the voltage it needs to crank the engine.....In the ecotec 2.2L the timing chain marks will only line up again after 23 full revolutions of the chain. In other words, you'll need to see that timing mark pass by 23 times. You may be on #17 and only have to turn it a few more times. Pretty much, just keep turning it until they line up.If you're having issues with your fuel delivery this may fix the problem.
