After another day at the range, I have concluded that my big hands have a significantly better grip on my Sig P938 when I use their extended magazine. The way the base juts forward (left, in the picture below) provides a perfect rest for my pinky finger, and also tends to jam my fingers closer together when I squeeze the grip.I will say both magazines performed flawlessly for me, however the P398 magazines were slightly easier to load by hand. Additionally the Kimber magazines have visible weld marks while the P938 magazines do not. The bottom of the Sig magazines also have a nice engraved branding.
