404a walk in cooler pressures

In regards to the discharge temp it was barely warm. Our pressure at the high side service valve was 140psig for 404a that's 66 degrees F. The pressure at the outlet of the receiver was also 140 so a same temp that liquid line was luke warm to cool on the return from the condenser. itzarel • 5 mo. ago..

I have a problem on a low temp 404A walk in freezer; it won't drop UNDER 20 degrees. This condensing unit is under the buildings roof and above a drop ceiling on the box top in a space that is 120 degree's; ALSO THE CONDENSER FAN IS 6 INCHES FROM THE BACK WALL! When you open the main door to the case, the evap is on the left side of the box and NOT to the rear of the freezer.Step 1. With the help of a wrench and the backing wrench with the adjustable screw, the technicians are challenged to remove the hex cap located on the base of the TXV valve. Step 2. To increase the superheat, technicians are allowed to turn it clockwise with the help of a refrigerant wrench. Step 3.Pressure Control Settings Low Pressure switch setting for an R-12 general-purpose walk-in cooler without pump down (temperature controlled by a pressure switch.) Assume a 40-degree fixture temperature and a 20-degree TD between the fixture and the evaporative temperature. • Box Temperature = 40ºF (Fixture Temperature)

By understanding the concept of superheat and its importance, we can optimize the performance of refrigeration units, save energy, and extend the lifespan of equipment. In this article, we will explore the concept of superheat ...Compare the amp reading of the compressor to the manufacturer's amp curves for the pressures recorded. Make sure the amp draw is within range (±5 percent) on the curves for the two pressures and voltage recorded. After applying these basic rules, a TXV/receiver/sight glass refrigeration system can be charged to the proper amount of refrigerant.
