On a LML or LMM, yes it may benefit you to make a change. 2017 L5P CCLB DRW LBZ. 2015 LML sold. 2014 LML sold. 2005 LLY sold.I would never consider a LML after owning a L5P. $1500 to delete a Cummins or LML. $7,000 to delete an L5P. $3,000 to convert from a CP4 to CP3 on the LML. $700+ to level the GMC/Chevy compared to $100 to level the Ram. Personally, I would never consider long-term ownership of a modern diesel with emissions intact.
Duramax L5P Engine Failures. I am not suggesting that there is any problem (s) with the 2017 to current L5P Durmax Engines. I am curious owning a 2021 L5P myself if anyone has had any serious issues with this engine. I had set the trip odometer the day I bought it and it's averaging almost 17, including some mild camper towing.
