Note we will NOT be running the motor for the initial setup. (1) Pull the rocker covers. (2) Remove Sparkplugs. For hydraulic, you are right - tighten to 0 clearance as indicated by lifting the rocker up and down at the valve, until movement stops, then go another 1/4 to 1/2 turn. 1/2 turn is recommmnded for low perf and stock rebuilds.
