They will work as filters, but if a better quality filter such as a Wix or Baldwin is available, that is what I would use. B.The OEM AC Delco would be a fine choice too, although the efficiency is a tad lower. If you want to change your oil filter every other change about every 15,000 miles or so, try the Fram Ultra with its 99%+ efficiency and dual layer wire backed synthetic media, it has some of the best stats a filter can earn. While I'm not sure the spec your Kohler takes, the 22HP Kohler on my XT1 specifies 10w30 and I used Rotella T5 10w30 on the first oil change.
