From a lot of places I’ve seen people saying that the Chaos Blade is the best katana. When two handing all the katanas with 27 strength, 40 dex, and 10 humanity, the Chaos Blade only does 30 more damage than the Uchigatana. Also the Uchigatana and Iaito have better movesets, and plus they are buffable which makes them do more damage anyways.Warrior meets the minimum requirements of the Uchigatana (1-handed) at Level 6, and Washing Pole (1-handed) at Level 14. The requirements for 2-handing are met at Level 5 and Level 8 respectively, but I'm going to focus exclusively on 1-handing from here on out. Great for tearing up bosses with R1s. both have the same scaling in +15 so that doesn't matter, great scythe has a bit more damage but lower attack speed and longer range. i guess it boils down to preference.
