Whenever I run a speed test through my phone while standing in my bedroom, I'll get about 650Mbps. Step into the living room and it'll drop near 100Mbps. I ordered a TP-Link RE315 extender with support up to 1200Mbps, and I got worse results. I tried setting it up halfway but still only reached about 100-150Mbps.Title says it all. Been on 1GB fiber for a year now, I know that nothing wireless will really benefit from higher connection speeds but most of my critical stuff is hard wired. I just switched to ATT fiber and I am not well versed in fiber network hardware. I want to completely bypass the isp router and plug the fiber cable directly into my tik through the sfp port. I have an RB2011UiAS-RM. The fiber cable I believe has a SC connector.
