I bought the rifle from SARCO for $900.00; fully assembled and head spaced. This is a cast receiver made by James River and looks to be cleanly milled and fits the stock tightly.Didn’t mean to offend about the “better than average” comment. I wasn’t aware a box stock M14 was as accurate as your talking. I was worried a well worn USGI parts kit would possibly yield less than desirable accuracy, same thing with a rifle made from a country which was known for cheaper alternatives and questionable quality at one point.I keep posting a less than five star review of my JRA m14 on Classic Firearms, but it gets taken down within a day or two every time.
