Built in 2005, this no-kill shelter is a safe haven for an array of pets waiting for their forever home. In any given year more than three hundred pets are adopted from the shelter, each receiving basic vaccinations. Homeward Bound is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit, no-kill shelter located at 736 Paws Trail off Caberfae Highway in Manistee. Those interested in adopting an animal are encouraged to contact the shelter to arrange for an appointment. Animal intakes are also by appointment only.
