As said above, you need to pull the trigger and release the half cocked firing pin before being able to slide the slide off. If it's a PRO model just pull the trigger. If it's the NON-PRO model it should have come with an orange "dummy mag" that needs to be inserted before being able to pull the trigger.…

LC9s slide stop problem/possible fix. Not sure how many rounds thru my LC9s, likely 4-500, and with the 7 round mag it started to fail to lock the slide back after firing last round. My 9 round mag still worked fine. I exchanged followers and the 7 round mag with the 9 round follower worked fine. Inspection of the 7 round follower revealed the ...Jamming.
