Dual wield builds arent really considered bad, but they are more often than not, less optimal than two handers, feat dependant, stat hungry and gear dependant where other builds usually work better with less. Dual wield ranged xbows is considered better than longbow by many. Dex is better, you get +1 to AC, initiative, all the relevant skills and save, hit (main hand at least as dual wielding is currently bugged) and damage, whereas the feat just gives +1 to AC and Damage. 2.
