The downside, as I see it, is you will never find a holster for a PT-945 with this thing hung under the barrel. It's already hard enough to find one for it as is. You'll have to make your own. I'd suggest getting busy on the basics of shooting. A laser does not make you a better shot under pressure.

This is both cast lead 200gr SWC and 200gr Hornady XTPs.When I do my part groups run 3" at 25 yds. After 5,000 rounds the trigger spring broke.
