Polaris ranger no spark.

Sep 27, 2021 · Here's what I know: 2014 Ranger 800 6 x 6 with 8000+ miles; 670 + hours. I am the second owner (300 miles, 50 hours on my watch). Worked fine untill recently. Unit cranks but will not start/ignite. battery voltage 12.4 to 12.7 VDC. turn key to on - fuel pump sounds and is quiet after 3 seconds or so (normal) all symbols come on the display and ... Spark Plug Removal and Replacement. Remove the cargo box access panel to access the spark plugs 1. Clean the area around the spark plugs before removing the plugs. Remove the spark plug caps. Using the spark plug wrench provided in the tool kit, remove the plugs by rotating them counterclockwise. Reverse the procedure for spark plug installation.Won't start on starting fluid either. I pulled a spark plug and confirmed there's no spark. Checked for power to the coils and don't have anything on the middle terminal. Should be 12v. I also have no injector pulse, no power, not clicking. Also, no power to the fuel pump. -----Will not flash codes. Does not even display "WAIT" or anything.After replacing the whole ignition system (ignition coil, stator with pickup coil, plug, wire, CDI, voltage regulator, solenoid) I still have no spark. Did something happen to possibly cause this issue, referring to you riding conditions and use of the Ranger. Give us a little more information.

Aug 15, 2013. #2. If you have power at a known good coil pack but no spark you have no ground pulse. It could be from: ( in no particular order) - bad computer. - bad crank sensor. - wiring problem. Either from the crank sensor to the computer, or from the computer to the coil pack ( unlikely that all 3 wires had a problem at the same time.I can't locate a fuse box either so I am coming to the conclusion there isn't one? All plug ins look okay- connected fully and without any water in them. Changed spark plugs but still turns over fine but absolutely no spark. Unit is 4 years old but has less than 100hrs on it. My first suggestion is to do a load test on the battery. Regardless if it has 12 volts it still might not have enough amps to turn the engine.

I know it's harder to get to on the 570, but with my machine it's less than 5 minutes to get it up and running if it's the plug.
