Chris wells is such a great professor. He is really passionate about what he teaches. The grades are 4 open note exams, 3 ILC exams, attendance and 2 extra credit opprotunities near the end of the semester. He does have a no computer and phone polices so if you hate taking hand written notes, do not take him.
Grade: B+. Textbook: Yes. Although Professor Artavanis is very intelligent, I had trouble understanding some of his lectures due to his strong Greek accent. Despite this, he is focused on growth, and wants his students to succeed. All of his homework's are homemade, and will give 1-2 in class quizzes on paper per week.Emily. Graves. Dr. Kim is an amazing professor. In fact, my favorite professor at LSU so far. Genetics is a challenging course, but Dr. Kim makes it very easy to understand. Homework is old exams, so there's no surprises when you go to take your exams for this class. There are pop quizzes in the discussion sessions, but Dr. Kim lets you know a week in advance.

Professor Bui is reasonable and tries to explain the concepts well. She offers practice questions throughout the lectures to prepare for the exams. The 3 exams and 1 final (cumulative) are the only grades, so you have to do well on them. The material is difficult and the exams are tricky. Test heavy.
