Now there apparently is a test procedure that GM uses (still trying to find out more about it) which will evaluate the DEF injector and the NoX sensors. Commonly for your Cruze are bad NoX sensors.

The ECO's fuel gauge isn't calibrated to the 12.6 gallons. It's still calibrated to the 15.6 gallon full tank size. This translates into a "full" ECO tank not showing full on the fuel gauge.
