I took an AAMC FL and went from a 123 to 128 so I personally think it really helped.
I.e one person could score WAY below average and study really hard and review all of the questions and get a 520 on FL1, or someone could get mid 60s and 70s and get a 510-515, it really depends on how you use the materials and learn from them. It gets much better about 1/3 of the way through it, to the point it’s much easier than UWORLD.
